Why are the mad rat front tyres the width of 4wd buggies and not slim like 2wd????

TBH most of the 2wd front wheels are similar width to the 4wd front wheels these days.
what most people do is dremal the inner edge off to make them thinner.

Why would you want slim front wheels???????

Only time i cut the outer bead off the rim is to fit stagger ribs,all the other 2wd front tyres are a perfect fit even the new cut staggers fit the rim fine

I don't want slimmer ones, all the b4's and lossi's use slim tyres I just wondered why !!
