I gather they are only available from the USA, so before I placed an order, I wondered if anyone had any experience with these guys and the ordering process from them?

They do quite a few nice looking parts for the Blitz at reasonable prices and I was considering getting a couple. How have people found the quality to be etc?

I bought some rear hubs for an SC10 from them a while back, the service was good and the parts arrived quickly.

Not much more to say TBH!

Strc generally make quality stuff. I had a fair bit of stuff on my Traxxas without problems.

Just avoid Integy like the plague though as most of it is very poor.

Ah, good news then. The truck could just use a few subtle orange highlights. Cheers guys.

...I'm correct in thinking there is no UK/EU supplier of these parts?

I have to agree that STRC parts are of high quality. Can't say the same about Integy though...

I would agree with previuous posts. I've had amazing service from STRC in the past and their parts are generally very high quality. They also respond extremely well to feedback from users and offer replacements for used faulty parts....top class :woot:

Hi
So you guys all ordered direct from STRC in the US of A then?
I'd rather order from the UK but can't find any one here selling the stuff.
Did you have to pay import tax?
I've seen some shops other there that seem to be cheaper on shipping but don't know if they are as reliable.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers

hello,

this is unusual (to be love by everyone, lol!) to give a shop's name in forums, but i can say that mine are comming from 'A main hobbies'.
for taxes : here, we have a perfect mailwoman who's never asking for any taxes!! amazing!! (but everytime a big sticker on the package marked "customer taxes to pay", loool!:D)
i love my mailwoman :wub

bye!

Amain do seem to be a good choice when you need US only parts, their shipping is reasonable with lots of options.

I'va always ordered straight from STRC and never had any issue with import taxes etc. Even made the mistake of placing an order and then realising I wanted more parts so I made a second order and they refunded the postage on the first order and sent both together.:lol::thumbsup:

My SC10 currently drives great and seems pretty bomb proof so it may be a while before I have to contact them.

On a different note does anyone know if the after market body shells are stronger as my SC10 shell is really badly damaged around the rear bumper and will probably need replacing soon.

JConcepts > Proline bodies.
But reinforce them all with drywall tape & shoegoo and they won't split/crack :)
