My new 2008 B4 and B44 shells needs chrome, and quite a lot of it. I use Faskolor on all my other shells. Do they do a chrome? if so, is this a good choice or do I need to use this Alcad stuff?
Regards

Dont think Faskolor do though everyone speaks very highly of the Fastrax / CML (fastFinnish) Chrome in a rattle can.

I used to swear by the alclad chrome, they do this in aerosol and jar. But I have just used some Spaz-Stix chrome, and it kicks ass.
This is also available in chrome and jar, but there are limited places sell it. I get mine from the land of the rising sun. ;)
I found the Fastrax stuff ok, but it left the finish a bit 'patchy', some places were nice shiny chrome and other places were just like a smooth silver.
Faskolor do a 'glitter chrome' but its NAFF!! with a big fat N.
Spaz is the best, but the aerosol one sticks the best, then alclad II then any other. Faskrome is more a pearl silver, great for sealing a light colour from a dark colour though.

Cheers. The other two colours are to be red and black, so the chrome can go on last. A can might be the easiest for those as it will be flood filled. Where can I get the Spaz chrome in a can? This is to be quite a simple design. The stickers are being specially made and will convey the design. :)
N
cause the chrome is backed with black, it can go on anytime realy.

Its more like a silver glitter base than an actuall chrome.
This is where I get my Spaz from

Is it going to be a mclaren style shell?
If so, the Tamiya Semi gloss annodised alluminium works a treat.
