I've just stripped my B4 down and can't see on the front castor blocks what degree they are.
I bought the car second hand so don't know what is fitted & am wondering how you can tell.
Thanks

Any hints for cleaning the bearings would be appreciated too, looks like sand from running on astro stuck to the outside of them.

PS Happy New Year!

Soak in wd40 or motor spray overnight then oil lightly

as for caster blocks there is no way of telling

B4 castor blocks have the angle written on them inside the "C" in silver/white pen unless they are 25° (kit)

Thanks for that, they must be the kit 25° then.

Also thans for the cleaning advise, I certainly hope that the bearings haven't worn, I just need to get some oil suitable for bearings, as I only have engine oil in the garage at the moment!
Any recomendations for suitable oil?

Maybe youve just been getting the standard 25 degree ones then.

Yeah was gonna say 20 or 30 will have it written in Silver or White on the inside, if there's nothing there they will be 25's

I think any oil in those little dropper bottle things (in Bens link) is ok for use in bearings, so just a light standard oil is OK.
