Hi,
I'm new to RC racing so I have a daft question, With the track being outside is there power to charge the Lipo's or is it done in some other way like car battery?
not if he is asking if broxstowe have power outside,
unless you have a gen then its 12v car battery

A leisure battery from your local Camping Store/Go Outdoors will see you right. You'll also need to pickup a 12V charger (so you can top it up when needed) - you can get these from Halfords/Argos/etc.

I went for the first time last night as a beginner too
Nice friendly place and I hope i didnt get in the way too often.
Most people seemed to be charging from their under bonnet car battery, so maybe that would be a good enough start:thumbsup:

yeah i use the battery in my car, not ideal for a full days racing (or if it's raining!) but ok for a club night to get you going. some cars also have the 12v accessory socket in the boot.
If you get into it in a big way, some people also use a generator
