Just wondering were everybody places there transponder on there mardave ,recently ive had a few missed laps with my mrt but never had problems before.I have my front bumper cut out and i place the transponder on the chasis just in front of the servo.I was told by race control my signal was as half as strong as most people.

I've got an AMB transponder and run a manic front bumper.
I have drilled out an transponder size hole in the bumper
It fits in there nicely and the bumper is bolted to the chassis so protects it.

Two Dave's, two MRT's servo taped on the chassis. One right behind the left lower arm. The other is centre chassis font of the servo. No missed laps. Loop is under the carpet.

well like he said is signal is half as strong as anyone else so the metal wont help, could try a voltage boost to increase power to the receiver in turn to the pt or mount it away from the chassis.

Are you 4 cell or LiPo?
The PT needs to be mounted on it's base for best signal reception I've read. Is yours on it's side?
Are the pins tight in the lead going into the receiver?
If LiPo you will need a voltage booster. 4 cell should be OK.
push the car (don't drive) across the loop with the PT powered up and free from the chassis and see if the signal improves.

do you have 4 bolts on the bumper as i only used 2 on mine and it sheared the bolt on a fast track exit, so dont trust if you only have 2!

If you look at the piccy I posted = 4 x bolts.
In fact I have bent a chassis using the bumper like this
So she does not move.
