Hi all
Just ordered a speed passion 6.5 and am wondering has anyone tried them? What are they like? Revs or torque?

I'll tell you after the weekend ;)
I've had a blast around the road on a half charged pack of cells, and it feels pretty good. Nice and smooth, but keeps the power there when you need it.

I've got one ready for when the buggy arrives, but i threw it in my TC to "test" it :)
the power numbers are high compared to other 6.5's ~350 compared to 330 ish for LRP and Novak, but it's not a revvy motor

Yeah i've run one - torque - quite a lot of it!!!! Don't be afraid to gear up.
As a direct comparison - i geared my SP 5,5 4 pinions higher than someone with an LRP 5.5.

Have ordered an Orion 6.5 sintered.
What are they like?

How should it be geared?
Sorry for all the questions but i'm from touring car stocks.
How hot should brushless motors get in buggies?

Basically same motor. As supplied Orion will probably have a little more top speed, but less torque.

For the Teesside track (average size, indoor) i geared mine around 6.8, seems to go very well so around 6.7 - 7 FDR should be good :)
