Ok guys i need to up grade to a better speed controler got M tronics cheapy in at the moment. dont want to break the banks so what would you go for something that can deliver a punch other than the wife:lol::lol:

When you say m-troniks cheapy, what you got???
Proper Viper Oval all day long at 39.95 from most retailers is your best bet.

are you on about brushed or brushless?
i myself and a few of mates have had problems with there M-troniks esc, i would say the novak xrs second hand is a great esc, i have a speedmaster v60 that i maybe getting rid of.as its just a spare and sitting about

I've got two of the Viper Oval ESCs and apart from the slight inconsistency issue (one has brake, the other doesn't! :woot: ) I've not had a problem with them.
I wouldn't spend a penny more on my 'dave until the powers that be decide what's happening with the rules. £40 is still £40 if I end up being the only person racing brushed and need to go get myself a new ESC... :thumbdown:

you wont do mate, i think mardave should be brushed :D
i still think the best esc for mardave is the XRS :thumbsup:
