I ran them at last weeks NE regional Mark...

Used tubby inserts, very grippy - had to dial it out on the front of the car.

When it comes to wear the grip does not drop off as it can on yellow minis. How many runs... Reckon you would get a meeting out of them with plenty left over, depends on how heavy you are with the trigger tho :D

Found they work very well at Batley too between the grass & astro. Good all round tyre imo.

I have run them on the 4wd at rhr. You do need to dial some steering out Mark but they are very good. plenty of grip. i did some runs with good old yellow spikes on then put the dboots on all i did was lower the ride hight a couple of turns all round and they were already as fast as spikes i actually did some faster laps with dboots on in the end. They don't wear quick at all i had already done a full race meeting on the ones i was using then another 25 mins or so running on them and they are still going as well as when they were new.

I ran Dboots on both cars this weekend at the regional. More grip than yellows and i ran 12 packs of cells through my 2wd rears and they still work Very well.

Only down side was as the sand build up grip disapeared but i didnt try yellows with sand build up to compare to.....

Which model of dBoot do you use on a 2WD, is it the Multibyte or the Terrabyte.
Is there different compounds?

Thanks

Good point Martin.

Coatsey is referring to multibyte. Iv'e tried terrabyte and they were ok, but imo not as good as Schu yellow's

edit: I think the above posts refer to 4WD. 2WD is generally staggers on the front and schu yellows on the rear

At RHR Col? I'm sure he's tested them against the clock.....

Not sure I understand, G?

Rich sure was quick with the multi's, but the day I was there that was all he ran. I tried terra's and was faster (and felt better) on schu's. Multi's needed too much set-up work for me to be bothered with!

Well I think he told me he bolted them on and dropped it two turns.
He thought they were as quick (if not quicker) than yellows but more consistent? I'd think they'd absorb the little bumps better?

Worth a try though :D
