just wondered if anyone new off any super deals on laptops wifi enabled,as my car got broken into last night and laptop generator etc...got stolen: (

unfortunately no insurance covered it,now looking into some type off insurance that covers things inside the car,if anybody nows off such like would be most usefull,thanks

www.exdemosales.co.uk have powermac pros at £1100, ok not amazingly cheap but can boot both windoze and OS X.... just incase your interested. And you get an extra 1gb of ram so thats 2gb with a dual 2ghz processor...

I'm not too sure, about this stuff. But pettry sure most comapnys only insure things in car when its either in the boot or the glove box..

Those sort of things should be covered under your house contents insurance on items that you take out.

I got my laptop from Comet for £540... 1.6 centrino I think. 80 GB hard drive, infared, wifi etc etc. It's lovely.

Expensive items over a certain price have to be named on the house and contents insurance for stuff taken whilst in your possesion.

Generator probably wouldn't even go much more than your policy excess.

thanks for the help,car window now fixed new generator has turned up,my trailer tent we found up the local travellers site,completely gutted and slightly damaged,so in the tent at batley,just the laptop to sort out really

Any thing from Apple should do ;).

The new Macbook looks good, even the standard Macbook is still pretty nifftey'. You can also get best of both worlds Windows and Apple.

Apart from that i cant sudjest any thing beacuse the only PC i have is a Acer laptop which is for dads work...every thing else is Apple.

Will
