Just to let you all know I now make tapered pistons for the Durango Big bore shocks!

There is a choice of 2,3,4,5,6 holes pistons with 1.0 mm to 1.7mm in .05mm steps.

Nathan Waters has been running the pistons for the last 2 Nationals with great results with A finals at both Nationals!

I picked up some pistons for my 210 and 410 at oople and just wanted to say they make a massive improvement over the kit style.

The shock travel is so much smoother.

Will have get a good stock of different sizes in for future.

Could you please explain what the difference is with the standard BB-pistons in terms of advantages, disadvantages, reaction, ...
Why should one use these?

And have you allready considered making and selling blancs so that the driver can drill the holes of his choice in them?

The stock pistons are already 6 hole, so to get less than 6 holes, you have to glue or melt holes shut. The stock pistons are plastic and molded, so the fit and smoothness in the shock isn't as good as Nick's machined delrin pistons. Smoother shocks work better. Also, Nick's are tapered on the bottom which should, theoretically, give a faster rebound action.

He is still making them, and you CAN request blanks. He's working on shipping my order of 24 pairs of blank pistons, with 6 dimples to show where to drill the holes. I'm going to keep about half the order for myself, and sell off the rest to local racers who also run Durango cars here in the States.

Hope you have better luck getting your order from Nick that I have had. Sent the money 17/8/12, and nothing has arrived yet! Nick doesn't respond to my PMs or emails asking for an update either. I've filed a dispute with paypal, but doubt that will work to get my money back either. If anyone here races at the same track as Nick, please kick him in the balls for me. :mad:
