Our lass is doing her nut because ive got car bits everywhere :o and actually its getting on my nerves aswell because i can't find nothing.:D
so ive decided to do out the out house benches etc so i can put all my car gear in there, and it will be my escape room :o so is your lass/mam dad doing your head in about your gear, and where do you tinker with your cars ;)

My stuff is always left in its hauler bags, and cardboard boxes for the spares and bits which i don't take to the track. They're all left behind/under my bed.

When I need to work on my cars, I will lay a towel out in the kitchen and do it there. if its a long job, and it overflows to another day of work then I still put everything away but the half assembled car is left on a towel on the floor in the spare room.

ill put the R6 on the balcony ;)

Wouldn't it be better riding the R6, I would keep my bike in the hallway if it would fit. I have no missus to nag me, 'cept some blokes wife who comes round quite often, but she doesn't nag ;)

Alas, I have my spare room, a home made rack behind the door to keep the cars/trucks on, and a "desk" to work on, with drawers to keep stuff in, a halogen desk lamp (£4 from wilkinsons :D) and a lot of floor space.

Where ever it gets put after a meeting lol!!

Most of it lives in the conservatory but I do all my work in the lounge .... well it's the only room with a plasma and cable ...

As for the other half she's a gem ... and the racing kit is the least of her worries!!!
She actually cleans my car if it's too muddy as a while back I absolutely wrecked the bathroom trying to get a Pred clean before it set to concrete, after that she figures it's better if she does it ... :)

God,,,
everyone keep going on about getting away from 'er indoors. I can't!!

I only have the living room table to do any car work on, due to the shed being full of shells and paint.:) But even then, I can't get away from her cos she come out to moan about how long I'm spending in there!?:wtf:

Mind you, at the moment the whole house is full of bodyshells and she only moans a couple of times........per hour!
:D

But yes the dining table is my pit....and sometime she even lets me leave things out until the next morning.:) when its not being worked on it just sits under the stairs in hauler bag and polybutler.

I have put up a 10'x8' Shed at the back of the garage.
No room left in garage. 3 Quad bikes and a moto-x bike are kept in there.
Got kicked out of the house by the wife. Don't get nagged at any more.
The shed has a few creature comforts in there. TV, HI-FI and a Gas Heater. Have insulated the inside panels to keep the heat in. A bit chilly out there at the moment.
Do you think that wiring the TV to the Sky box in the house is going a bit OTT.

Ive gone the other way and built the wife a little shed with no tv, radio or heating so SHE can do her ironing washing and stuff what woman do in there and leave me in peace. I let her out once in a while to vacuum the house and make me tea tho.

we only live in a one bedroom house so there is none of this. it is all packed away in boxes and stored on the top of wardrobes or in cupboards...apart from me cars and toolbox which live in the corner of the bedroom!!!! I either get my pit table out in the room downstairs or clear the missus table in the bedroom and turn that intoo a pit table.

so long as it is all cleared away it is usually ok but her indoors is getting hacked off with it being in the bedroom.
