Schumacher Staggered Ribs on Rat

Those that are using staggers on their Rats/Monkeys/Xpros - how do you fit them? With inserts? Glued? Modify the rim by removing rib(s)? Cut the tyre bead?

My normal staggers are on cut down (narrowed) wheels with no inserts (glued)

My Cut staggers have inserts and on normal width wheels (glued)
