If you are running on 27Mhz then yes you will need a new receiver and transmitter because it will be more then likely that there will be a lot of interference. Brushless seems to be okay on 40FM.

I don't believe a new servo will be needed unless you are using a cheap acoms one or are upgrading to 2.4ghz. Something with a bit of torque to keep the wheels in line will be needed with the extra power.

You may find you may need some new batteries to be able to supply the power the motor wants. Try it with the ones you have first and wait till the 2008 list comes out just incase you do need new batteries.

If your going for new batteries just buy stickpacks for a wheelie king, you dont need EB aproved cells as you wont be racing this type of vehicle.

Why would i need a new reciver though? what interference would i get if there was no one around?

Why would i need a new reciver if there is no one around to interfere with the signal.

I believe he was talking about interference from the brushless unit. Im not sure how relevent it is though.
