getting rid of worn out lipos

hi guys just wondering what the score is here as i have a knackered lipo and dont know how to get rid of it dont really want it left laying around cheers guys:confused::thumbsup:

I think you're supposed to put the pack in salt water until the output Voltage is zero before taking to a recycling centre.

take it to recycling centre they should have a facility fot lipo/li-on cells
most people just dump old lap top batteries etc staright to the centre without discharging them . But as responsible RC citizens it is better to discharge in a bucket of salt water as previous post recommends :thumbsup:
