Hi guys first post here.

Im running a second hand setup as above, with a spekky radio system.

If i run with the esc setting on the computer as medium/normal initial acceloration find the car becoming unresponsive(as it states on the computer might happen) is there any way of stopping this from happening? I find after a while with the low setting it eventually ends up doing it aswell.

Any help would be great thanks guys

How powerful are your batteries?

im running the overlander 7.4v 5000 25c packs. sounds like that could be the issue if u asked that first lol??

when i bought my first esc + motor (second hand one) it came with a 24 tooth pinion which im running on a b4 could that hinder it aswell??

I'm just thinking that if the batteries were low powered or if the capacitor was broken it would cause this stuttering under acceleration as not enough power will be going to the motor.

Well they are only 25c packs, shud that be fine? If not i do have access to some higher c rating ones, could try that and if not then shud i try a new cap, the esc is well used so it might just be on its way out?

Could it be getting warm as the fan is pretty much touching the shell, but not stopping it obviously

I've just noticed that you are using a spektrum system, have you got the esc set to 2.4ghz on the computer?

I'd try updating the firmware, it may help.

Another thing, what do you meant by "unresponisve"?

So im driving around and going round a track, im going for a few minutes then after going round a corner with no throttle i go kick some more throttle in and it dont do nout wait a short while like between 5 and maybe 15 seconds then it comes back again. It does mention this in the pc software summit to do with initial acceloration speed and to turn it down if it happens but i tried on lowest setting and it eventually does the same just not as soon it takes longer

Does the servo stop as well?
