spektrum receiver question

Hi All

I have a pro module for my KO, will all spektrum surface receivers work? as I only have the 3500 pro ones at the moment.

You won't be able to use the DSM2 rx's.

Yup - As Steve says, you won't be able to use the SR3100 or the SR3520 as both are DSM2.
You'll also not be able to use the HRS Futaba one either but you'll be OK with either the SR300, SR3001 or SR3001 Pro or the micro SR3500 - but you might want a power cap with the micro one.

Thanks, so I will avoid the ones with dsm2 on the case.

Why would I need a cap on the micro receivers? I have 2 ATM which seem fine so I am just interested in what the problem might be.

Only if you have low C rated cells. Higher than 30C and power caps are not required;)
