Batteries

Hi, I am wondering what batteries you guys are using down at Torch ? I have a mix of LIPO's but not sure if you want a certain size/capacity etc to race with ? I'm assuming it has to be hard cased due to the lipo element.

Hi Steve

We are not really strict about lipos being on the BRCA list but they do need to be hardcase.

No limits on capacity but max of 2 cells (7.4V). I take around 2000mah out of my cells in a race (2WD with a 7.5T motor). Anything over around 3200mah is going to be fine.

Please charge in a lipo charging sack - you can pick one up for less than a tenner.

Sunday i am around but i am only just ordering my batteries and new charger (existing stuff is too small capacity and slow charger) so its dependant if i have them in time or not ..... :cry:
