Much fairer.

Nice idea but maybe cost prohibitive if people race who didnt do the FASTRAX GP in June.

Will you be sorting out the straight before sunday?

Sick of taking off randomly and braking stuff.

Dudders
27-07-2011, 09:49 PM
What's wrong with the straight?

What did you break?

Remember you need to SLOW DOWN for the corner after it yar?

The Chef
28-07-2011, 07:43 AM
Cars just going randomly air born 2/3's of the way down it. If you went the other way round at least the rough end is at the start of the straight when one is not so fast.

Dudders
28-07-2011, 09:45 AM
Cant say I saw any issue's to be hoenst Chef, I race in a heat and final and didnt feel a thing down that way, did others crash?, maybe it was one of your racing lines :lol::lol:

We are doing reverse on Sunday so it should'nt happen but I'll look at the track this afternoon

There are a few ruts as you get to the end. I had an episode where i braked just as i entered the rut. My back end soon became my front as it flipped in the air. I did enjoy the track though :)

3 heats, 1 final, approx 50 laps completed, 1 crash on the straight. Seemed ok to me, just challenging.

To be fair to Kris, I was marshalling the end of the striaght for the 2wd 2nd heat and the 2wd A final, and there were quite a few airbourne moments well before the corner too...

It was a case of not to full throttle it down the straight and stay out wide to avoid the big bump!

Hey Alec, be great to see you down here!

Alas not, we tried for the Fastrax Event but the trade wasnt enough to make it worth the Cadet while :cry:Not sure how they worked that out Neil, we went over on the GP day just after lunch time ish to get a burger and they had sold out!! We had a sauasge roll instead (which was VERY nice). So if they sold out of all that they had how can they say it was not enough to make it worthwhile......

Dudders
29-07-2011, 12:02 AM
Good point but I think they are used to 200+ people in an evening when they hold their auctions in the hall. Part hungry 60 odd people didnt really scratch the surfice for the time they were there. Some had their own BBQ's which also didnt go down to well with Laura (I dont mind however!)

Maybe I'll look into a van but it's very difficult to get them to come along for a day for £200 or £300 worth of sales
