i run on a smallish indoor clay track, my 511 came equiped with the oneway upfront.
i'm curious to see how many guys are actually running them opposed to the center one way, and why?
also has managed to get a geared diff in the TRF511?

I don't run either and I don't know anyone who does

You don't need to, I run on all surfaces. Try it I'm sure you'll swap it back pretty quickly.

they work ok on touring cars apparently
and it has been done before in another thread, but with a spec r gear diff designed for a 416. Apparently the drive blades don't last long in offroad.

Tamiya 54312 is a direct fit, use with 54311.

why do you need to use 54311?
It makes them stronger.

I've used one in the Durga one some grass tracks and wet astro and it works well to just power the car around and drag it through corners. If the track is slippy/loose it would work well.
On a high grip surface it makes the car to twitchy and unpredictable.
Bizarrely I always had problems with the pins in the front cvds coming out when using one, so don't really use one anymore unless I really need that 'pull' effect.
