:woot:At last, it's been a while, all these public demonstrations are great, but I can't wait to hammer by cars this weekend:woot:.
After the demos we have been doing, I am expecting a few new faces on Sunday, so that will be great, all hands on deck for helping out our guests please.
The only downer may be that the club cars don't turn up in time. The supplier has changed the delivery date from last Friday to this Friday, we can only wait and see.
BBQ if the weather holds up.
£4.00 for those running cars (their will be no extra charge this week for using a club car if they turn up, we only have three though so we need to play nicely and share lol) free to spectate as usual. 1100 - 1530.
Do we have volunteers to give lifts to those without transport please. We will hopefully be getting some people from the disability forum joining us this weekend so you may need room for a wheelchair.
The Venue:
Arborfield Garrison
REME Museum (Park at the Museum Car Park)
The field (We will be set up on the field behind the Museum)
Can't wait - see you all their.

What a great day, well messy, and fantastic fun. On a day that should have been a complete wash out with the duff weather, it turned out to be a brilliant days bash. Lots of fierce racing in the mud. I think we have well and truly ground that track in now .
Steve, the canopy was a boon, I dont think today would have worked without it, I think the club should invest in another one if everyone agrees.
Trevor, "Gasman got skills", I think he has been getting some sneaky practice in, the way he was throwing that 4.6 around. Ian and his Pulse were on form as always, until its untimely stop:thumbdown:, Baztech's Hyper is definitely not a tree hugger and Dan "you is just crazy man", I must get some chainmail ankle boots.
Thanks to all the new members for turning up despite the weather. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, and hope you can all make it next week.
My short course needs a full strip down clean and re-lube, but lets be honest its a good excuse to spend a couple of hours in the man cave.
Thanks everyone

Sorry, sorry:blush:, I cant believe I forgot to thank our budding junior Chefs, Becky and Harry for running the BBQ even in the rain (remember, just don't tell anyone. Nothing wrong with a bit of roughage anyway)

Missed out on a goodun didn't I?
I managed to repair my pull start, got my car running outside the house on Saturday (now my neighbours love me!!) and everything was ready to go.
Small matter of a family christening on Sunday morning but shouldn't have taken to long, then it absolutely hammered down.
i wasn't sure if any of you would have made it so I ended up staying put and missed out on a decent bash.
Post photos any of you that have them!
Car is ready to go and I am now hungry for some major mud action!!!

Sounds like a mad time was had by all.
1/5 Hummer?
I looked at these a while ago and thought they looked like a great bit of kit.
I could have brought a tank over!!!
Next Sunday looks like more of the same weather at the moment.
