I've bought an SC10FT to start SC Racing with. (Hoping to do the last 2 rounds of the UK Nationals) I'm after some advice on ESC's and motors. I've looked at either the MMP or Tekin RS. What seems to be common, or to avoid? I've used Castle for years with brushed motors but this is my first brushless.
Thanks for any help.
tekin or castle :D:thumbsup:
if you can afford it tekin :wub
but any esc will do, lrp, gm, tekin, novak, etc.
just as for motors, i use a tekin 10.5 in my ft, my ft has no grip at all so its plenty fast

Happy with my Castle Mamba Max Pro, plenty of room for a big ESC like that in a short course.

I'm gonna give the EZrun SC10 a go in a couple of weeks for my 2wd sct.
Will prob hook an EZrun 8.5t onto it as fancy having just a little bit too much power :D

Thanks for the replies. I've gone with the Castle SCT but have just upgraded to a MMP. Just have to wait for it to arrive now :D
One other question about racing. When i used to race 10th Off Road some years ago all the transponders were provided by the clubs. Is that still the case or do i need my own? And, if so , which one?
Thanks.

Clubs should have handouts - I ended up getting an MRT one:
