sure I saw a thred about this on here, some one asking about diff bits

Diff plates in the monkey seem a bit soft, once you have fitted good quality balls the plates seem to groove very soon after, I have started to use Associated drive rings part no 7666, direct fit onto outputs, diff is now super smooth:thumbsup: after a few runs

Are these for the b4?
I looked at these and they are thinner than the ansmann rings.
Do you fit shims on the output shafts as i would of thought you might get side to side play as the output shafts would be ever so slightly closer together.

The B-Fast diff sets use B4 diff plates, ground flat with a copper washer to bring it back to the correct thickness, worth getting a set from B-Fast as they work really well.

Some of the rings (diff plates) need a bit of grinding on the inside to fit the outdrive. It is true they are .25mm thinner then the stock rings. I could never get mine to adjust properly with this missing clearance.
If theres a part number out there for the correct shim, I would like to know it.

I am now running xray rings which are the correct thickness and have no issues.

For sure the Bfast pro kit is the way to go. I just found my thrust bearing balls broken into bits in my truck.
I hope the factory can someday source some better materials for the diff and slipper pads. I will say that the cvd's and all roller bearings hold up very well though!
