I have never done so much racing at one meeting in my life!:woot:
4 heats of qualifying 5 mins each (Although I missed one heat and only did 4 mins in another!)
C Final - 10 mins
B final 15 mins
A Final 20 mins
I think I will now have a quiet sit down!!!

The car handled the very bumpy track really well, crime fighters were good if a little understeery but car was fairly easy to drive.
The engine played up a bit in that it would'nt run to well from first being started, it stalled when I tried to apply power.
I ran heat one, but the transponder did'nt count properly
Heat two was going well until the steering servo stripped the horn.
Heat three good run
Heat four non start cause Tricky found that my fuel pipe to the tank was loose and not pressurising and I had lost 4 wheel drive
So Tricky, had a look at my car and helped set the engine up.
So, C final, win that.
B Final, win that - got cramp in my thumb and had to get Stu to switch the car off!
A final - I think I came 4th or 5th and had to get a chap to fill my car up as Stu was marshalling
20 mins and only two pit stops - RUNNING ON FUMES!!
Story of my life now though, I think the clutch is slipping.
One clutch slips the other car wont let the clutch go!!!

if your on the stock losi clutch you need to replace the losi clutch shoes, they only last 2 meetings at most, replace with the kingheadz ones which last a lot longer and are cheaper too, also the losi stock clutchbell will break, replace with a robinson racing one which is much tougher and is a direct replacement

Sounds like you may have a plan Dave - we are brand new to this.

We may do.
To be honest though the attraction to 8th is that racing is close by, meaning it's not a dawn start on a Sunday, hence why Preston & Pendle are attractive.

Hello Dave! where can the clutch items be purchased and how much?
I am sure frankley is very nice but I am knackered from our little club meeting today, never mind driving two hours to get back!
I don't care how fit she is:woot:

Yeah, but Dave - next door man, ya could be back in 5 mins, and she'd be glad of a bit so you'd be supplying a service.
