Due to the track condition and some business stuff we will not be running until the 28th of August.

I believe TORCH is closed on this day so if there is enough interest I will turn this into a trophy meeting

'ooo' did you say trophy's  :p

Silly question maybe, but as newbies, I assume that 'next meet on 28th'='no meet this Tuesday' [23rd?!

Dudders

Alas not, been giving the track a few weeks rest. We'll be doing something on the 30th though, just not sure if a meeting or open practice as its dark at 8.00 . All dates on the website

Yay, I'm in! Got a pass sorted so see you there! Do I need to email you too Neil to 'prebook' or what?

You going to be racing as well as race controlling this time? If you need a hand with the race control let me know... I'm sure I can press the green for go button (if needed)

We'll 100% be running 2 and 4wd buggy's, not surde on the Short Course though. Depends if more turn up on the day.....

Depending on his ability he might be able to run it in the novice class or a 2/4wd heat, but I'd need to see him race it first, to make sure there's not too much carnige!... SC trucks a bit stronger than buggy's!

Thanks to everyone at the club for making us and our boys so very welcome! ESP for help, mechanical advice and repairs! Even though we came away needing repairs & upgrades (£) we all had a great time! And the bacon butties were excellent! Served up with lovely smiles and chat! keep up the good work!

Fairly pleased with my first outing there with the 511.

Just a bit disappointed with some of my random errors.

Hope to see you all on the 25th at TORCH ;)

Do I sense a TORCH Vs SHRCC in the not too distant future?

Our track does seem to punish the smallest simplest mistakes (I know I make far too many of them myself!).. Glad you had a good time, and yes the interclub event sounds like a fun idea to me...

No more than TORCH. High grip also catches people out, on the edge again but in a diff way. I did enjoy the fact that I wasn't having to try and loose traction etc.

Four wheel power sliding was fun too

yeah, I can see that must have its own problems associated with it... Back to the drawing board for me, when I come down then! Although sorry, can't make the 25th..
