So is it worth getting the eu? Cause mate is selling a good condition 2.0 n I don't want to spend 300 quid on a brand new chassis if there's only a little bit different

i would say if the 2.0 you mention is in good nick at a good price get it.the eu is good but you can always buy the bits to make a 2.0 into an eu if you wanted to.i have the normal 2.0 and think its an awesome car.

They are both fantastic cars and you honestly can't go wrong with either, I've ran both of them and it's nice to have the EU options but not necessary....

As far as engines go, I'd personally only ever stick with O.S., Novarossi, Picco, Tecnopower

I run an eu,i had the 2.0 before hand, the eu gives alot more steering but as has been said you can always get the bits either new or 2nd hand to make it into an eu
As for engines Novarossi plus 4 or btt,i have never owned such quality engines

Alpha engines are excellent. I have an Alpha F850 and it is fantastic. Close to 3 gallons through it now, still loads of pinch, starts first push on the starter and can keep up with the various OS, Novarossi etc at the club. Yeah the more expensive engines are made from slightly more exotic materials so they last a bit longer but you can buy 3 new engines for the price of the latest OS and a complete Alpha engine is cheaper than a piston and liner kit for the OS!!!

In fact a lot of the top guys at my club have switched to an Alpha after seeing mine run and the fact they are such good value. I am on the verge of buying the Alpha A852 to replace my F850 but there doesn't seem any point at the moment, still going strong.

I think I'm gonna give alpha engines a try because of their price n some good reputations :) Im confused with the different types of alpha engines and their specs doesn't make any sense to me so I'm not sure which 1 to go for :/ p.s I'm new to nitro :D
