Are you sure that battery is on the BRCA list? The lists are published on the BRCA website and I cannot see that manufacturer on them.

There is a Victory Battery near the bottom, http://www.brca.org/sites/default/files/library_files/BRCAchairman/2011%20BRCA%202S%20Stick%20LiPo%20List%20v1%20pdf1 _1.pdf

(is the list difficult to find or is it me?)

Depends on the club.

Most allow non-BRCA-listed lipos, but usually they must be in a hardcase and to BRCA dimensions.

The approved list includes dimensions (submitted sample?),
#VB-5000 5000 mah. 45C Victory Battery, Length: 138.29 mm. Width: 46.36 mm. High: 24.00 mm.

must be close to 'new' batteries being submitted for 2012 time of year soon
