well hopefully will be racing during the day. And heck i amy even run my 2wd drive in 4wd again to see how i compare when i have run in all the qualifying rounds. Instead of just the two. In was surprised when i came to the final and i nearly lapped everyone when i was only running a 2wd car. Mind it was the F final though.:D

Just got back from track building. Very nice layout if i say so myself. Nice jump in front of rostrum and a wall of death to look forward to! Plenty carpet for the carpet lovers aswell. Loads of room for pitting so no panic about getting a decent spot. Cafe upstairs etc so looks to be a great Regional.

As far as i remember it was Gregg with the win, David Snee with the second(hasnt raced in a while but it didnt show)and maybe chris Long next? James Chappell qualified 6th but didnt have a great race. Adam Skelding looked great all day as usual but made a few mistakes which didnt help. Well done to Stephen adams on an A final. Ben Riley was in the A aswell along with Northy. Sorry if i have got anybodys position wrong but thats what i can remember. Well done to NERCR for an awesome event and great track.

just about everyone in the 4wd A has been mentioned except ben jemison. big welldone to ben after getting his first NE regional A with the S4 [the only running s4 there today]. you did well to keep your position around the other ben, he was driving like an animal. ben also did well with his 2wd, putting it in the A to finish 3rd overall in the championship [i think ]. so a very welldone to ben and all the other drivers.

Nah Woody won the championship, I needed to TQ aswell as win to get it. It was a bit of a dirty (unintentionally!) overtake for me, normally I would have waited but I wasn't in the best of moods after the local scallies decided to open my Astra's window with a screwdriver :(

Who needs a Tomtom anyway when you have KashKash to follow

Chrislong

Track was great, my only slight critism is having the matts after the straight complicates starts of finals. And having the bot-dots under the red carpet - makes that part of the track random.... personal preference to me though.

I reckon you guys have a great crew going supporting the club, and a great venue. How about arranging a major event once per winter there? As people like me are unlikely to go again until the next regional, but a 2+ day event there id be very keen to go to. I also reckon some of the guys over there would appreciate a large event in that corner of Britain as they do deserve a medal for the amount of driving they must do.

Well done to Greg!!!

Hope the link works -> Results (http://www.nercr.net/results/regIndoor0708/mtg23/index.htm)
Mail secretary@nercr.net if they don't

I have used the settings as per the bbkRC regional database - so if they are not correct - not my fault.

Re the Lowe / Wood result - the bbkRC settings give the 2wd champ to Lowe as it is set to use "Best results of scoring rounds to break tie"

But when in the final it is all about keeping your cool and not bomming off at the firsty chance. Thanks for all the kind comments guys.:D

Really enjoyed Sunday, the track was ace. Well done to the NERCR members who helped set the track up, I thought that the mats off the end of the straight were great and so was the wall of death.

Well done to Ben Jemison on making your first 4wd regional A Final and beating me by one point in the 2wd championship!:D

Josh I thought that you were driving exellent. This is the reason you qualified higher than me in the first place. But when in the final it is all about keeping your cool and not bomming off at the firsty chance. I mean I started 10th, but i kept my cool and gradually over-took most of the people to finish with a well earned third.:thumbsup:

Thanks, i was driving slowly and smoothly but i seemed to have bad luck/bad mistakes a few time in the final which put me down. I see you finished 15th, need a pit bitch/personal photographer at Worksop?
