We will be running a club nite on Friday (26th) as usual and we now have people camping over Friday nite so the track can be left out overnight meaning the track will be open for practice all day Saturday until qualifying at around 3pm ish!

Same schedule as before after that with 3 rounds of qualifying before bbqs and beer etc.

Then another 3 rounds of qualifying Sunday followed by 3 finals for all.

We are definatly setting the track up this afternoon so tonights racing is deffo on if you want to race or just have a practice on the track. Track is very raceable in any weather no matter how much it rains

Weather looks much better for the weekend so should be awsome!

Thanks to Andy for taking pity on me pitting on my motorbike coat by the track and giving me a table and a power supply. Also for running a 2 day meeting whilst running his family life at the same time!
Thanks to Chris for giving me suspension advice.
Thanks to 'Grandad' for letting me have some brushes for my motor and then holding it for me as a soldered them on; plus the 'cheerful Chinese' advice! Also his grandkids were friendly and funny too!
And thanks to Aaron for letting me have his body clip, general chit-chat and for farting like he had eaten a corpse this morning!

Despite the fact I only finished about 3 races and had electrical problems in EVERY race (leading me/the car being total rubbish!!), I had a great time and everyone there this weekend was fantastic. Wonderful place that everyone should come and race at.
I hope to get my 'Cow' Cougar 2 running MUCH better next time so watch out (as I used to compete at the top 20 years ago! Would you believe I won at a regional once?).

Thanks everyone for another great meeting

It was the most enjoyable I've done since I started racing again, brilliant organisation, close racing and great driving standards

Oh, sorry I took a chunk out of the concrete barrier at the end of the straight......who said Cats weren't strong cars!! (although both me and the car wondered how we had got away with it) :D

That comment about not being welcome if you're not a member really sucks  I'm not a member even though I am local, can't see why it's an issue as the club will get a bit more money when non members do race.

Having said that I've had no negative vibes in my direction??

Your right, that comment does suck . But can I also say that is not a comment or view of anyone who is involved with the club. Non members are more than welcome always and we infact try to encourage as many people to come and use our facilities as possible. (Even though I am aware that you are all members anyway Wayne so it was a stupid comment for someone to make in the first place!)

Everyone is always welcome at Broxtowe:thumbsup: (except Simon Heath as he whoooped my ass:mad:)

I've always found the Broxtowe club to be very welcoming, so don't get put off from coming again...

Did anyone take any pics of the racing?
