Hi Guys,

Thanks to all those that filled in a questionnaire at the Colchester Regional, it made for some interesting and not so interesting points about your views on the series to date.

Positives:

Everyone that filled one in said they would support the region in 2012.
The format that the meetings are run to seems to be popular.
Half said they'd turn up to the AGM.
There was an equal split from the drivers over which was there favourite venue.

Negatives:

Lots of travelling for some of the racers.
More marshalls required.
Standard of driving etiquette.

The general feeling I got that was everyone enjoyed competing in the series.

Things to talk about at the AGM:

Spread the regionals around the region more.
Control Tire at certain or all venues.
Increase the number of Rounds.
How to get more drivers attending. It appears that all clubs run an off road series that attract a decent number of drivers, how do we get these drivers to attend the regionals?
Run the regionals as an Interclub series
Running open classes of touring car, 1/8 and short course at appropriate venues.

In the mean time it's up to the clubs and club racers to help promote Off Road and encourage more racers into this great hobby.

I'd also be interested to hear why many club racers are put off with attending a regional event even when it's at their home circuit. It would be good if the clubs could whizz round a simple questionnaire asking this, just so we have some feed back.
