Ah yeh, and then there is one called "Straw", that turned my stomach.

The film which freaked me out the most was Cabin Fever, I was freaked out about wasting my money on renting it.

I was scared by Lost in Translation, scared that I didn't get it, ended somewhere at the middle of the film.

I quite liked Wolf Creek too. and The Hills have Eyes.

30 Days of Night is pretty gory and not a bad film but The Grudge is still a bit of a favourite. Halloween scared the crap out of me when I was a kid though.
Did you know, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is based on a true story and when the guy was released from the mental institute he came to live in England!:o

i loved a film called carver! it was very sick at points and i recon every man would cringe at one certain point (just think nuts n a set of pliers:cry:) i also liked land of the dead and pretty much anything else with dead in the title! the shining freaked me out a lil the first time i saw it but i was 6 at the time:thumbsup: ooh ooh! switchblade romance was kinda good! in regards to the texas chainsaw massacre i liked the TCM the beginning that was kind sick! the jap stuff still spooks me a lil but to really scare me it has to be the care bears! think about it! the all spread love in never fight or if they do they make up in no time at all! I jus think one of thems gotta snap, find a big knife, maybe die i a crazy way then all the care bears start dieing of in more and more gruesome ways......................still if that happened id probably watch it with a load of kids jus to see them all mentally scarred for life:p:thumbsup:

Ulzanna's Raid - a 1972 film starring Burt Lancaster about Indians who break out of the reservation and go on a killing and torture spree. It is graphic and scary!

Soldier Blue - a 1970 film starring Peter Strauss, Donald Pleasance and Candice Bergen, a graphic and devastating portrayal of the massacre of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Indians by the Colorado State Militia on the Colorado Plains in the 1870s.

What makes both of these so scary is that they depict real events; that this is what man does to man. There is nothing artificial about the story, the people or the events, yet they were both shocking to everyone in their time. In both, just when oyu think you've seen it all, it gets worse!
