Hi Mate

Mark and i both went.(Its mostly my story though).

It was 2 hectic days racing so i can't remember to much about who came where especially after leaving home at 3.30am. I'll have a go though (apoligies for the ones i get wrong or miss).

2wd Saturday.
The track was incredibly grippy. The whole car set up had to be changed including cutting all the spikes on the rear tyres down to about 1mm in length to reduce the cars grip rolling.
Chris Rowcliffe qualified 8th in the A driving Neil Craggs C4.1
I qualified 2nd in the C had a nightmare marshall ended up 9th

4wd Sunday
It was raining and the track was quite wet YIPPEE no grip roll.
I qualified 17th so 7th in the B final.
Mark Field and Rob Paynter both made the D Final qual 1st and 2nd.
Competition was incredibly tight I finished 10th in the first round. I was 1 second slower in round two and that put me 17th in round. Round three was the same time as round 1 and I finished 11th round four I was 15th with the same time as round 2 and finished 15th in round. I was approx 10 seconds of off TQ with my fastest time.
The track dried for the finals so grip roll was back. So to cope with this I changed everything on the car which took about 1 ½ hours.
The car was ok for the my final and I finished 3rd after some close racing.
Tom Knowles from tiverton made the U16's A final
Brian Burrows made the veterans A Final

All in all a good weekend. I'm happy as you like with finishing 13th.

You may have to wait until Sunday to get everyones stories

Cheers
Paul
