Struggling to get any punch from my car, have LRP 6200 Lipo's ( not old) and SP 6.5
Good top speed, but quite sluggish!
Do i need to program my esc on the computer if i want to activate punch profiles?? if so whats connection??
Or are there other methods?
Any help would be great

You only need pc to change software on the esc. You should be able to adjust punch via the program card.

use the LCD programming box that came with the speedo.
if punch (DDRS?) is down at 1-3, it might feel soft. switch it up to 6-7 and see if it feels better.
make sure you press the button to save the change!

you need to be running the stock software on the speedo, which will require a PC and the paid-for LCD programming box.
what is your timing set at? and what motor is it?

try setting it full/max and see if it makes a difference. I run a SP 6.5 in 2wd with max timing and punch set to 7.
i would leave the motor timing position as standard.

IIRC, the physical motor timing position on mine is roughly in the centre. I set the timing in the software instead. If you are cranked all the way to one side, try bringing it back to the centre and give it a few laps.

it should have come with the speedo....
you can probably buy them direct from schumacher, order one from your LHS or you sometimes see them for sale on here.

the free lcd programmer comes with the speedo connects via the receiver cable, the one which lets you update the speedo software is the one that connects with usb.

You can use either a Speed Passion/Hobbywing/Hpi Proflux LCD program box.

This one will do the job.

To clear it up..
The LED programmer comes with the speedo and is also useless with the latest softwares.
The LCD programmer is an optional extra and is essential for changing the ESC software and changing the extra settings on the latest versions of the software. You should get one if you don't have one already.
You should also check what version of software you have before you mess around with the settings. Get them wrong and you can cook motors. For offroad I would recommend 205MOD anyway which is simple to use and performs well.
