Torbay Radio Auto Club (TRAC) is run by a bloke called john,

it is an outdoor track that hosts races for 1/8th nitro, 1/8th electric and 1/10th electric, and if the interest is high enough other scale cars may be raced,
the club runs every other sunday and starts about 9am so get there early,
spares are supplied by AMC www.actionmodelcentre.co.uk
food and drink can be purchased on site inc burgers and hot dogs, mmmm

they also run a winter series which most of the rc racers from the south west attend,

the winter series runs most of the winter and alternates between a track at acorn centre torquay and National championship Marine Academy (Tamarside) racing 1/16th cars, 1/18th cars, pan cars and touring cars, and this year there may even be a mardave class,
the winter series races start at about 10am, booking in is at about 9.30am and racing goes on till about 4pm in the afternoon.
if you fancy coming get there early to get some table space (plymouth mainly).
