Hi all, could anyone tell me if the x2
will fit a saddle pack?
I'm undecided between the x2 and x2c
at the moment. I have two sets of saddles
that I'd rather not get rid of, but the x2 would
Suit my local track!

Thanks

turnigy 5000 nano tech, would they just
slot in where a stick would normally go?
Thanks

Excellent :) that gives me a good choice.
Also do you know if a set of tamiya db01
Shocks will go on?
Thanks for the help

The x2 and x2c comes with alloy threaded shocks. They are excellent and really easy to build and setup. I think the shocks are as good as anything else on the market at the moment.

The reason I ask is that I have an offer on a second hand x2 without shocks. Naturally I would prefer a new one. And judging by the price of the big bores that are sold separately I might just plump for a kit anyway.
Thanks guys :)

Remember the kit doesnt come with big bores though, unless you can find an X2TE somewhere...

i thought the new x2 and x2c came with anodised threaded shocks, shame if there not because they are advertised like that. hat ones do they come with?

It's my understanding they are threaded shocks but not Big Bore threaded shocks unless as stated you can find an X2TE

they come with a standard sized ally threaded shock as the photos tom is just pointing out the big bores as seen on the team cars are an additional hop up

ah ok ill have to think about it then, its just the one im looking at has what looks like the same ones as the team edition. Is it just a visual thing (ie my bad eye sight:blush:) or is there really a big difference in bore diameter?

I couldn't confirm the diameter, I'm sure one of the other guys will be along to confirm but you will see a difference when looking at them.

If you want to send me a PM with the link to the one you are looking at (assuming it's online) I'll gladly confirm for you

sorry I'm on a rubbish mobile and its no good at setting links. Ive seen it on the model sport site, £119.99. If you do get a chance to look at it could you tell me what type of shocks they are and if their not big bores are they still good enough for the job of club racing? Thanks for your input :)

The one your looking at is the X2, pink and black bodyshell? It doesnt come with big bores but the shocks are still alluminium and threaded, they are very good shocks and more than able to cope with the demands of racing

+1 the big bores are great but the standard ones are great to and more than capable of performing at any level. I think the standard ones are really easy to bleed as well making them easy to set rebound. Easier than the big bores anyways.

That's really helpful thanks. Think ill definitely get one new rather than used. Now I just need to decide between an x2 or the x2c  they both seem such good value for money!

You won't go far wrong with the x2c,I ran mine for the first time in anger at the autumn cup at rhr on sunday and was very impressed with it. Not run it indoors yet, that will come when worksop starts in a few weeks time.

well thats good, thisll be my first buggy. Ive just given up the touring cars indoors (wrong time of year, i know!) and im moving to an astro turf track outdoors. looking forward to getting the hang of these things. Definitely gonna be fun if not a little damp!!

Astro turf is usually high grip so id recommend the x2c over the x2... The mid motor car handles better in high grip situations and is easier to 'push' :)

I shall take your advice cheers :)

Do you know anything about hobbywing esc's?
I have an extreme stock and want to run a hobbywing 5.5turn. The motor is a loner from a friend to get me going. Just not sure if the speedo is up to it, and what sort of gearing would be suitable?
