Wounded :(, their soldering irons were the best.

Can anyone recommend a decent alternative?

Yes I tried to call them too as I need a spare tip for my Spec iron, if anyone knows where to get one let me know.............

I think they sold stuff on ebay to clear out stock, you might have luck there
