Booking in for the Sunday winter series will open online next week (Monday hopefully). I will also have some booking in forms with me next Wednesday. Price is £10 per meeting pre-paid, £15 on the day, or £50 for the whole series (6 meetings) prepaid.

Plans for the winter series include the intorduction of some more fearures including a wall of death, corner table top, as well as a few other bits and peices. End of series raffle, best marshall competition, and a B1 "better luck next time" beer award (can of fosters, over 18's only).

Thanks,

Matt

Matty, can you please give us an indication of the track size you have available there?

I am very interested as you've not clashed with anything else I was planning on doing!!!

The full size of the sports hall will be used, with pitting in an additional room. I will get exact measurements this Wednesday. I will post some footage of last nights meeting on here later so you can get a idea, although the track will be bigger as we pit in the hall on a Wednesday.

Here's the footage from the first week, all the fire hose is filled now, new features are being introduced for the winter series, including a corner table top, landing ramps, and a hopefully a wall of death. Track layout is usually designed by TR team drivers Alec Springer and Paul Upton.

Had a chat with the local kebab van man at Deanshanger last night (Chicken and Mushroom Kebab highly recommended), who is willing to come down to the track during the winter series to provide reasonbly priced lunch - kebabs, burgers, chips, drinks, ect, for those attending.

Is this something of interest, and would you use him?

My fantastic start from pole

Doubt very much whether it would have ever been an easy win even if you hadn't cacked up the start but we'll never know now will we? ;)
Felt really good to lap both the cars that started in front of me on the grid though :p
Must try harder in qualifying next week, might even put the right tyres on, who knows ;)

Booking in for the first round is filling up. Get you entry asap to avoid disappointment, maximum of 80 drivers for each round. When it's full it's full.

If you've not been before, and your planning to attend any of the winter series dates please can you reply to this thread with the usual booking in details: - Name, Cars, PT, Frequency, Ability out of 15 (1 low - 15 high).

If your going to be travelling a long way and need to find accomodation for the Saturday night let me know and I'll send you details of hotels in the area. The nearest hotel is less than a couple of miles away. Stoney Stratford is less than 5 miles from the venue and has places to stay and a good night life for a town.

Thanks Guys,

I will book you all in. Payment can be made via the Telstar Racing website, or on the day. If you plan to pay on the day and for any reason do not attend without letting me know prior to the event then payment for future rounds will have to be made prior to you being booked in.

Pre-booked entry fee is £10.00, if you do not pre-book and just turn up on the day the fee is £15.00. Booking in for all rounds is £50.00 - this offer will remain open until the end of the meeting on the 09 October. If you wish to book in for the whole series payment must be made on or before the 09 October 2011.

If you can't make the meeting then please let me know either by email sales@telstar-racing.co.uk, or telephone 07525 437 170 as early as possible. The plan is to fill the series so if/when events reach capacity I will hold a reserve entry list.

Thanks

Matt

I have a question .... power!

What is the availability of 240V power like at this venue? Happy enough to bring a 25m 4 way with me if I need to but it's not part of my normal race kit.

Another question ... venue post code and name please (probably missed this so sorry if I have). I seem to recall there are 2 schools in the Deanshanger area, is it the one by the village stores?

Looking forward to it.

Kingsbrooke Business School
Deanshanger near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

In terms of power, there's plenty of sockets scattered about but it never hurts to bring a 25m 4 way extension lead, will just make things easier for everyone in the end!
