Monkey Problems

I am very new to this so please excuse my ignorance but I bought a Mad Monkey 2 weeks ago used it happily 4 or 5 times. It now seems the speed controller has died. I have removed and re-attached all cables. The reciever works as I can use the remote to control the steering of the car. Was wondering if there is soemthing I could try? I bought the RTR version which did not come with a fan or a programming card should these have been included?

If you bought the car fron your local shop, take it back as they should be able to test it and if the speedo has failed ansmann are quite good, if it's falty they will prob sort it.

I'm not sure on what the rtr speedo is like, Have you got another motor you can try , just to make sure it's the speedo, not the motor.

Agreed, if it's new and you got it fromyour local model shop then I would take it back and get them to have a look at it.

Sounds like you speedo has blown, but it could be a number of things.

agree with what people have said. get it checked out at where you bought it from. or if it was on line go to your local model shop the will be happy to help

Thanks for the advice have taken it back to Apex Models they asked me to leave it there so they can look at it properly. Appreciate the quick responses.
