These boys know how to build jumps..... wouldn't want to get hit in the head by an 8th car travelling at these speeds / heights though!

I had several friends go to that race in Georgia... it was in a horse arena, and the arena didn't want them bringing in much dirt so they had the wooden ramps. Much worse than the jumps at the race was the race schedule: it ran for three days nearly non stop. The had 340 entires and ran 10 minute qualifiers. From someone who was there (posted on another forum):

Yes guys that jump was HUGE! It is the biggest jump I have seen in RC racing, and the roughest track, too. You could put your car in the air and relax for a second or two until it was time to land. ... I wasn't too excited about the schedule. The qaulifying ran roughly 24 hours straight through. With our heats being spread, we couldn't sleep. We all stayed up to help each other. I think overall the racing was ok, but they need some HELP. I think 3 people were running it and one of them was racing. There was zero track maintence...

It'd be quite an experience, that's for sure!
