The DEX210 comes with a ball diff in the kit.

The balls are 3mm, and there are 14 of them.

I've no idea what material they are in the kit though - does anyone know?

We have our really ace ceramic diff balls available now for the 210 at £9 per pack, post free.

I don't know what grade they are but they're the best balls i've ever felt, i know a number of people who haven't had to service diffs for the best part of a season using Simons balls :wub

On parts lists says the thrust balls are caged which suggests to me they are not loose like on ae or losi diffs for example

From the pics released today it shows 15 diff balls
So who's right? is it 14 or 15 balls?

I should have counted the holes in the gear, it's 14

+1 would like to know as well, can they be used loose or do they need the cage?

I just use Simon's balls and do not worry about the thrust race and it is just smooth and have not had to do anything to it since I have built the car. I have to say that it is the best ball diff I have had on any car once you have Crabb's balls.
