Cobra has a new Venue!!!!

Guys we are moving to a new indoor venue as from 30/10/11:thumbsup:
The new hall is similar size to caldicot and has full kitchen to use and also m/f/d toilets with a private carpark. We hopefully will have a tuck shop and hot munchies back up and running soon aswell:woot::woot::woot:

We will be running buggy and touring dedicated tracks on different days of the month, and will be monitoring the entries to each to see where the majority lies;)
Buggy days will be using all our normal features and also anything else we can come up with!:D

We hope to see you all there soon...

hi to all at cobra,
we are just about 45 mins from you and tbh i only found out about your club by going to caldicott which is an hour away from us.
anyway just wondered what scales and timing system you guys use ?
we have a club which is a bit bigger than yours but simalar setup and wondered if we came to yours whether some of you guys might be interested in extra practice if your not open say on a sunday we are open 2 sundays and 2 tues each month and currently running 1/10 shortcourse and micro buggies.
just a thought that we could help each other out and get more racing to please all
we are currently using the cheap robotronics system as we have only been running for 4 months prior to that we were running mini zs ect
hopefully approx 7 of us would be interested in comming to yours on a regular basis if you kind chaps could accomadate us ?:thumbsup:

We use the amb system, so we all use personal transponders, you can be manually counted to.

Where to is your club based?

a few of us have pt,s so we would be ok for yours and we have handout transponders in the pipeline for the system we use
were based in pontyates in meinciau hall just outside llanelli
just in the process of affiliating to the brca ect and then hopefully get our webpage sorted :)
