British Winter Off-Road Championships 2011/12

The 2011/12 British Winter Off-Road Championships will take place @ Silverstone RCMCC new Indoor Venue on 11/12th February 2012.

Entry forms will be available via www.brca.org (http://www.brca.org).

Venue:
Indoor Sports Arena - Pitsford Centre
Moulton College,
West Street,
Moulton,
NN3 7RR

Directions:
Postcode only takes you to the Dorm area, you need to follow the road round to the right. Continue down the hill over some speed bumps, you will then go through a S bend and climb up a hill. The next entrance on your right will be for the Moulton College Sports Centre, continue past this following road round to your left, you should see a lit up complex to your right. Take the next right into the Holcot centre, Pitsford Rd. At the top of the road turn left and follow signs for car park. There will be a number of large buildings in front of car park, the Sports Arena is to the left (about 3rd building down)

The following hotels are the closest or easiest for travel...

Travelodge - Northampton Round Spinney
Includes Toby Carvery next door
5 mins from venue
Travelodge - Northampton Wootton
Includes Toby Carvery, Dominos pizza. Also there is a Harvester 2 mins away.
10/15 mins from venue

Premier Inn - Northampton Great Billing
Has pub joined onto hotel (not sure what brand), fish and chip shop next door.
10 mins from venue

These are closest and best hotels for travel times avoiding traffic etc, more are available.


Tyres: Schumacher Mini Pins

Track: Will consist of GT Carpet, Slippy sections, under and over with drop off, Kicker jumps, woops, Large track layout.... and best of all a good race track!!!

Awesome coffee shop on site with breakfast served in the morning, lunch menu and dinner menu.. cold food served all day.

It will be a good chilled out meeting with some of the very best drivers in the country racing also....

And a typical indoor off road track Silverstone style.... so expect under/overs with drop off's, big jumps and woops... but best of all!!! A good race track for everyone.

Event was confirmed by BRCA Tuesday so just a matter of entry forms being typed up..
