Can anyone confirm if the cell location lumps on the LRP 5000 50c saddle lipo's are solid or hollow?

I could really do with filing them down, but can't tell if i'll end up with a whole in the case which would make them illegal and a touch unsafe?!?

Thanks in advance.

Just had a look at mine with a bright light. 99.98% sure they are hollow. I can see the contour of the plastic.

Agree - 99.9% certain they would be hollow. Plastic injection moulding requires as much uniform section as possible along the part. If it were solid there would be substantial sinkage and the joint at the two halves would not be straight, as well as other problems with holding the shape of the case.

You could always e-mail LRP from their site and ask one of the LRP Moderators on their forum. HTH :)

Have you tried to turn them round, so that the bumps are at the top. The holes are through and through.

100% just turn the pack over with lugs facing upwards I have never seen anyone cutting the lugs off.
