Yokomo are the ones I remember too, they were out about 2002 / 3 so it's a long time ago now.

This was is, silly little picture though :(

http://www.yokomousa.com/newproducts/productspict/TruckBodyElectric190.jpg

I can't find the product number listed anywhere though, and Yokomo USA don't seem to have a shop anymore... everything I can find points to Yokomo USA http://www.uk-microrc.co.uk/forum/lofiversion/index.php?t733.html but it's all pretty old now. You could contact CML and ask very politely if they have any old stock ? It's so old now though I don't know if there would be anything about, doesn't even seem to be anything on ebay now ???? Having a part number would narrow your search down.

Just found this on Youtube, I love the way he hounds the TC into a mistake until he takes the lead, nice ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv-UqELl5qk&feature=related

You might be better looking at a different forum ? Maybe one where they have Touring cars as their main thing OR Drift cars, the drift cars use the same chassis. They might be better placed to tell you ? Worth a shot. Let me know how you get on, I've still got my old Yokomo TC, quite fancy putting a Euro Truck shell on it !

After some more searching I've uncovered loads more info... none looking promising for the Yokomo though...

It's part number is ZR-RTHB - in Japan it's known as a "trailer head".

This is where I found the part number http://www.teamyokomo.com/japan/weekly_0702/Weekly_070219_en.pdf

Which lead me to these... http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=22488

http://www.rcfans.com/bbs/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=339380

http://www.teamyokomo.com/japan/products/kit_10_rth/index.html

Good luck, I think it will have to be via old Japanese stock or ebay and a complete bit of luck, I don't think you'll get one otherwise... Unless someone can make you one ?

It might even be worth posting on the truck forum ?

The Yokomo CLC60 is the Challenger, Yokomos 1/12th scale crawler

The body is way too small for a touring car.

We have the Yokomo one still listed on our site (www.dms-racing.com (http://www.dms-racing.com) ZE-RTHB - the 200mm wide one, just type "truck" in our search and select "Yokomo" from the list of brands and it will come up) and I "think" we still have one in stock, but cannot check until Monday now when back in work

 I didn't see Dexter had posted the same time as me, It took me ages to find that bloody part number and he'd posted it already  D-oh !

Post up what you end up doing, this sounds interesting. What are you painting it up as ? You need to post the final result of that in the RCgraphy section too so we can see it

my plan is to try and enter it in the vintage rallycross events at my local club, because my end idea is to widen it to fit my mardave cobra then creat some arches to house the wheels but at the end of the arches ill have rock craler extension arches just to make it look better at end of arch, then i a back cab from one of my old mans land rover shelss nd ill fit that on it and then hopefully get it to look like the trucks that do the dakar rally lol i no its alot of faffing around involved and alot easier routes i could take with this ir just buy a unimog shell nd cut and shut that but i think the merc looks alot nicer.i just gotta hope tha 1 build it in time and 2 they let me enter it lol i think they will as its just more a have a laugh kinda event and the club love wacky things like this.if not il just race it on a normal friday night in with the buggys because it a buggy underneath and im guna jack it up anyway so im not guna b afraid of jumping it. but as i read this back to myself im thinking this might end up as a winter project because its alot of work owell heyho ill give it a go.just gotta order one of thoughs shells from a&j because i got a reall bad feeling wat i orderd aint what i want as terry.rc pointed out.nut thanks again for all the help guys .

Jay, not sure it really counts as rallycross! (rallycross isn't vintage btw) but hey, if you manage to build it I'm sure no one will object you running it!!
