Been asked if it's possible to run a vintage class?

Based on old Tamiya's etc.... maybe manual or base electric ESC and stand 540 silver can motor's with old school cells rather than lipo.

Any one else fancy this as a fun class to race a few times a night?

Well, we might have to move some of the bigger jumps, not too sure my roughie (all be a re-release) would cope and so might be a pain in the @ss...

What "Tamiya's" were you thinking? Again, don't think my roughie would go against hotshots, frogs etc... (however I do have a 'modified' dogfighter I could get running with a little TLC!!!)

:p

No i think brushless would be sufficient but say limiting the wind to a 8.5, 9.5 or 10.5 (your decision which one) and then i may bring my zxs out of storage and come down.
