View Full Version : rubber 1/12 tyres

are there any rubber tyres available to fit on 1/12 circuit rims??? i have a small drag rail and where i can run it foams really dont work so looking for something else. the xpress style t27's etc are slightly too larger diameter, as are 1/18 micro rubber tyres, any good ideas???

I was searching for the same thing a few weeks ago.

From what I found, 1/12 rubber tyres have existed but the performance was rubbish. Apparently the poor performance was due to the 1/12th pan being too light to put the rubber down.

They still might exist though?

If you want rubbers designed for 1/12th, the BSR tyre caps are your only option. They were developed for oval racing so there's not much choice in such a niche market.

Plenty of options for mini size tyres, while the treaded tyres are around 60mm diameter the mini size slicks from Ride, Speedway Pal and Sweep are 53-54mm diameter.
