To make life easier for some people we (Silverstone RCMCC) will be taking entries for the BRCA Winter off road championships sunday. You will need a complete entry form and you can pay cash/Cheque. We are unable to accept complete entry forms.

Silverstone are hosting this years event at our new indoor venue so would love the support from drivers in our region.

Many thanks to Keith and team for putting on another great meeting, the conditions were very tricky at times.

I tried Schumacher yellows all round in the A Final 2wd and they did give me some advantage, qualified 10th, came in 5th.

x2c was great all day.

I think it was the glow from that orange shell that was burning you a dry line in the final :woot:
Great days racing, flipping slippy but still great fun
Many thanks Keith etc for a superbly run meeting & many thanks David for all the advice

No worries, do have a look at my Broxtowe setup for the 210 on the TD website and if you have any question then just ask

It happened the week before, the temp dropped between heats & the grip was gone, was like driving on ice, but still good fun :D

Have to echo this. Was watching you going round in the final and it was seriously impressive to watch. In those tricky conditions it was a near perfect run.

With the heavy dew we are having at the moment the track only has a window of about an hour where it has dried out from the morning, before the late afternoon brings a fresh wave of dew on the track and the grip has gone again. I practiced for my final on Yellows and it was good, 30 minutes later when the race started it was like a different car as the rear end slithered around like a snake.... :(

Thanks.... Sunday was one of the hardest days ever, not sure what happened to the grip ??

The grip just vanished between practising about 5 mins before the start of the finals on yellows, by the time the A final 2wd started the grip had just gone completely (20mins later).

Well done John on winning both A finals?

Thanks.... Sunday was one of the hardest days ever

Really? You made it look so easy in the 4wd A final, I think after 3 corners no one saw you again, apart from those you lapped:thumbsup:

Another point well worth mentioning about Sunday was the phenomenal support and advice being given out by the more experienced guys. It goes on week in week out, Kev Lee in particular giving me no end of help and advice over the past few months but what struck me about Sunday was that help was coming from all angles. David was helping Stu all throughout the day, I was helped all afternoon with my Vega which was hugely appreciated and the Schumacher team were just something else with the help they gave to Demetri. As well as literally non stop set up advice they were more than forthcoming with spare parts and lending him things.

It was a credit to the sport to see such widespread help being given so freely.
