The idle gear in aluminium exist on Ansmm update, but i prefert the delrin one.
The ansmann shocks in green are very very good, really better than the associated.

You dont need the aluminium idler gears, just the newer gears, i forget the part number though...

Shocks wise the ansmann x2 shocks are very good, or big bores if you've got the budget, other than that, b4 and xxx shocks will fit if your on a tight budget!

I ran an old set of B4 FT's on mine, worked a treet:thumbsup:

only thing to watch for when changing to any type of shock is the amount of droop, the std madmonkey drive cups are not made of the best stuff, a little to much droop and the shafts are able to come out on a big jump etc and because of the quality they will sometimes chip the drive edge of the cup on the way out, thus making it far more likly for them to come out again:bored:

i have some X2C shocks up for grabs in the for sale section. Ideal upgrade for a monkey or madrat. Brand new and still unbuilt in the packet
