Search "1s 120a esc" on eBay. It'll do everything you need and go in a normally 2 cell car when you aren't racing the Mardave.
The car depends on what you what to do with it. Our club race hot rods, some race bangers, some race mini stocks.

If you mean the HobbyWing esc it's no use for a G2 'brushed' motor

1s LiPo and the G2 motor won't have any speed. 1s = 3.7v and 4 cell = 4.8v

For 1s you need a brushless esc like the one mentioned and a 13.5t BL motor

1s/13.5 = 4 cell/G2 for speed.

With 60a EZRUN,two of the 3 motor wires can be joined together and can be used for brushed motors-according to the instruction sheet that came with it,quite handy dont you think?

Both esc will work but you'll need either a voltage booster or receiver pack as there is no inbuilt booster in either esc. Receiver pack plugs into battery port on receiver. Booster is more user friendly as you don't need to charge it. Fit the best, http://www.rcdynamics.co.uk/Products.html, there are other cheaper ones on ebay that work though

Motor's good to go with either
