I have recently purchased one of these chargers with version 10.81 and really like the facilities of the PC hook up. It is a shame that the ICS system goes a bit low on the cut off to use with todays NiMH cells but that is progress I suppose. The only issue that I have found is that I do not seem to be able to change the delta volts during a peak detect charge. I press key 1 during charge as the manual states and nothing happens. Does anyone else have any experience of this charger to help me with this problem?

Hi there,

I've got a slightly later version but I believe the operation is the same (the manual hasn't changed for a while, which is a pain as not everything in it is now relevent). I wasn't aware that this delta peak change method was an option as I thought you could only change it from the main menu, by pressing 1. So I tried what you mentioned but had the same outcome. Looking in the manual I couldn't find any mention of changing it during a charge, but think you may have mis-interpreted the following sentence:

"Delta values can be set for different numbers of cells (1-6) in both charge and repeak for both Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd cells."

This relates to the type of charge (ie full or repeak) and not the time at which you change the values.

I hope this helps you, but if not then contact Pro-trak as they are normally very helpful.:D

Thanks that has answered my question. I thought you could only change the delta volts when in the charging menu I did not realise you had to access it whilst in the top level menu. I think it was because I was looking at the flow chart which states that it is a hot key during charge. Thanks again for helping me to find it.
